My name is Ann Johnson, the short broad in the photo below. I have a lot of different interests, many of which are reflected in the various pages in this website.

I am often found with binoculars around my neck, either looking at birds or dragonflies.  And of course I manage to gravitate towards friends with like interests.

I love to travel and see the sights and wildlife of different places.  I guess that may be part of the reason Hologram Birding Tours came into existence.  It is great fun showing some of my favorite places to old and new friends.  The last few years I have had a great time birding in Mexico and have fallen in love with the country and its people.  Maybe someday I will be able to speak enough Spanish to feel comfortable going there on my own!

By day you can find me working as a Management Analyst for the State of Iowa.  For the past several years this job has entailed the use of the web in information management.  This gave me an opportunity to increase some of my skills in web development.  While I don't really want to be a programmer when I grow up, the challenge of solving a puzzle to get something working correctly is kind of fun.
